Allison Brannen-Gray—Matron of Honor

Allie is Sarah’s cousin as well as her oldest friend and surrogate sister. She is a fourth degree blackbelt in Jujitsu. She is also a leading scholar of 19th Century American literature.

Thomas Lackaye—Best Man

Tommy is Dan’s brother. He invented Reese’s Puffs cereal. It has since been placed on the “Endangered Cereals” list.

Cecelia Culverhouse—Bridesmaid

Cece and Sarah went to college together. It was her idea for people to say “Gesundheit!” after someone sneezes.

William Lackaye—Groomsman

Billy is Dan’s other brother, Tommy’s twin. He was also in the running for Best Man, but he is a Jets fan, which helped in the decision.

Shane Brannen—Groomsman

Shane is Sarah’s brother. He worked for several years as a Cosmonaut, but quit for political reasons. His dog Kush was the inspiration for the Ron Weasley character in the Harry Potter books.

Travis Searle—Groomsman

Travis is Dan’s former partner on the radio and in a professional wrestling tag team known as the “Occident Express”. His stint in the military was the inspiration for the “Beetle Bailey” comic strip.

Stefan Reifler-Brannen—Usher

Stefan is Sarah’s brother.  When told he would be an “usher,” he was so excited to play the part, he immediately dusted off his copy of “Dance Dance Revolution.”

Julien Marques—Groomsman

Julien is Dan’s friend from college. He has visited every petting zoo east of the Mississippi River.

Meghan Guion—Bridesmaid

Meg is a family friend of Dan’s and a high school friend of Sarah’s. If you meet her at the wedding she is likely to take credit for Dan and Sarah being together. She discovered 37 of Saturn’s 62 moons.

Samara Klein—Bridesmaid

Samara is Sarah’s friend from college. She contributed the title to the movie “A Fish Called Wanda,” named after her actual childhood pet.

Nicole Vavaroutsos—Bridesmaid

Nicole is Sarah’s former roommate. Her surfing adventures in Costa Rica were dramatized into the major motion picture “Blue Crush.”

Jennifer Lackaye—Bridesmaid

Jen is Dan’s sister. She participated in the original “We Are The World” recording session at age 3 (pictured).

Matthew Stumpf—Groomsman

Matt is Dan’s friend since the 4th grade. He owns the world’s largest collection of Chinese throwing stars.

Tyler Brannen—Usher

Tyler is Sarah’s brother. He is the first person to finish reading a James Joyce novel.
